Snowshoeing on and near Mt. Hood, Oregon

Some time ago I found that I enjoy snowshoeing a lot and so I get out as often as possible.
Here are a few photos from on and around Mt. Hood (posted 2/6/2012)

Mt. Hood from highway 26 above Zigzag Canyon, early morning

Early in the season when there's not much snow.  Backcountry skiers above timberline on Hood

Debbie, my wife, taking a break on a cold, still, sunny day.  Ahhhhh

It's not always sunny and clear, but it's always beautiful

Robert, snack time.  No bugs.

With my Cascadia Wild friends.  It snowed all day, a lot.
