Snowshoeing on and near Mt. Hood, Oregon
Some time ago I found that I enjoy snowshoeing a lot and so I
get out as often as possible.
Here are a few photos from on and around Mt. Hood (posted 2/6/2012)

Mt. Hood from highway 26 above Zigzag Canyon, early morning

Early in the season when there's not much snow. Backcountry skiers above
timberline on Hood

Debbie, my wife, taking a break on a cold, still, sunny day. Ahhhhh

Mt. Jefferson from Ghost Ridge, looking south

Robert and David on Ghost Ridge

It's not always sunny and clear, but it's always beautiful

Robert, snack time. No bugs.

Woods on a snowy day above Government Camp

With my Cascadia Wild friends. It snowed all day, a lot.
