Matthieu Lakes - Three Sisters Wilderness -June 2019

Dan, Mike and I went for a short two-night escape to South Matthieu Lake in Oregon's Three Sisters Wilderness in late June, 2019.  There were mosquitoes and very few people.  No one camped near us and we saw only one other person, a through hiker.  On the second day and night we had some heavy weather, with high winds, a long thunderstorm, hail, sleet, rain and finally, in the middle of the night, a dusting of snow.  But that cleared the mosquitoes.
