October trip to Paradise Park on Mt. Hood

Fall Colors are unusual on Mt. Hood, or pretty much anywhere in the Oregon Cascades because the rains usually hit just as the leaves change.  But on this October backpacking trip my wife, Debbie, and I caught some nice color and great weather.  We started at Timberline Lodge then went over to the near side of Paradise Park on the SW side of Mt. Hood.  It's a popular hike, but if you go this late in the season you won't see many people.  We didn't.
