This is just a day hike but I promise, it's a wonder.  This is in the Canadian Rockies. (As always I apologize for the terrible image quality here on Weebly.  It's pathetic.  I paid for a pro account and this is what I get.)   Anyway, this starts at the tip of Lake Louise then goes along the entire shore then very gradually up to a huge cirque area.  The glaciers were still there when we were there but like almost all glaciers, they are leaving up.  So do this hike as a side trip to a longer trip to the Canadian Rockies.
Near the end of the trail there's a cool little teahouse with simple sandwiches, pastries, coffee and tea.  But be SURE to do this.  Get to the trailhead AT DAWN!!  That is unless you enjoy hiking in hoards of people.   We were there at dawn and were the first ones up and saw no one until we'd been at the tea house for a while.  You can roam around well above the tea house and that's worthwhile also.
