Road and hiking trip to the redwoods in northern california in December 2023

In December of 2023 I had the chance to get away from my home near Portland to visit the dunes on the Oregon south coast and then on into the redwoods in northern California.  Everyone should experience the redwoods a few times in their lives.  The list of superlatives goes on and on, and in the winter the forests are nearly empty.  I met no one on any trail other than some trail workers in one area in the Humboldt Redwoods.  I had good weather, cool but no rain.  I was in my little Scamp trailer so I had a dry home and bed, a kitchen, fridge, water, heat, and lights.  Not exactly roughing it.  Here are a very few photos starting with the Humboldt Redwoods and then a couple of signs and a video in the Prairie Creek Redwoods.
